New features

Cancel Posted Credit Memos

A new feature has been added to the Customer Ledger Entries page for canceling posted credit memos. If a Utility Sales Credit Memo has been posted and needs to be canceled, use Actions > Functions > Cancel Utility Credit Memo to create an invoice. This action cancels the posted credit memo, and the related lines in the Utility Ledger Entries (ULE) will be deleted—similar to the invoice cancellation process.

Tariff Management

We have improved the handling of archived contract lines:

  • You can now specify an individual utility contract price for a utility contract using the new Skip Tariff Upload parameter in Utility Contract lines.

  • A new button, Edit Arc. Contract Line, has been added to the Arch. Utility Contract Lines page. This allows you to change the tariff price of archived contract lines—provided there are no associated Utility Ledger Entries.

  • Archived contract lines in Utility Contracts do not automatically recognize changes to the Tariff Component Code for billing. The Tariff Implementation Function can be used multiple times if needed.

Bulk Tariff Code Change

A new function, Change Tariff Code, has been added to Skybill. It allows bulk changes from one Utility Tariff Code to another. You can find it on the main dashboard under Tasks > Change Tariff Code.

Welcome Letter Customization

A new feature related to the portal welcome letter allows you to send different welcome email bodies from the utility contract, depending on specific values in the Utility Contract header.

Document Sending Profile Enhancements

The system now supports combining the Default Sending Option with the Email Invoices Separately setting. This ensures documents are sent individually, even with the default configuration. If a customer lacks a specific sending profile, the Default Document Sending Profile will automatically apply for consistent delivery.

Error Log Retention Policy

A retention policy has been implemented for Error Log entries SKY system table. You can configure automated data cleanup using the setup on the standard Retention Policy page.

Feature changes

Additional Fields Added

  • New fields added to the Supply Address Card page: Landlord Contract No. and Landlord Customer.

  • New fields added to the Utility Contract Lines page: Unit Price, Tariff Start Date, and Tariff End Date.

Tariff Management

It is now disabled the possibility to change a component on a Utility Tariff if it's already applied to a Utility Contract. In such cases, the Tariff Component Code column is deactivated, along with the New Line and Delete Line functions.

Meter Serial Number Tracking

Added Serial No. FlowFields to the Meter Change Log table and page for improved tracking of associated meters.

Hotfixes

  • Tariff Management - Utility Tariff Card Lines

    • Added control for the Starting Date field to ensure consistency with the header. If lines are copied from another tariff card, their start date is automatically updated to match the header.

    • The Ending Date field is now deactivated. Add the end date in Utility Tariff Header.

  • Renaming Renamed the function to update billing cycle dates from Update Meter Reading Dates SKY to Update Billing Cycle Dates.

  • Email Validation Fix Email validation logic now accepts addresses with one or two characters before the @ symbol, fixing an issue where valid addresses were incorrectly rejected.

  • Cancel Meter Change Hotfix Fixed an issue preventing users from canceling a meter removal in the Meter Change Log page due to a system restriction.

  • Meter Point Allocation Key Logic Fix Corrected the logic for Sub Meter Point Equal in the Bulk Difference Allocation procedure to follow the expected distribution rules.

  • Meter Multiplier Handling Improved handling of the meter multiplier in scenarios where consumption is calculated using formulas.

  • Meter Point no. in Invoice Layout Fix Hotfix for invoice layouts to properly display Meter Point number for specific types when using formula-based consumption calculations.

  • Calculation with FORMULA Type in Specific Cases Hotfix for calculations involving components of type FORMULA in contract lines. To ensure accurate consumption and correct representation of the formula component, an additional field called Parent Component has been added to the lines in Sales Invoices and Sales Credit Memos.

  • Meter Rollover Function If Meter Digital Rollover is enabled and Number of Digits is specified on the meter card, any reading lower than the previous by a full digit rollover is treated as a rollover event—not negative consumption.

  • Service Consumption Journal

    • Enhanced the performance of the Open in Excel feature for the Service Consumption Journal.

    • Resolved a misleading status report shown when Calculate Services completed the processing.

  • Missing Translations Added missing English (UK) translations for Sub Meter Headcount and Sub Meter Point Equal fields. Also, the last option has been renamed to Sub Meter Headcount for consistency and clarity.

  • Tooltip for Use Previous Date Reading Added a tooltip for the Use Previous Date Reading toggle when using the Update Meter Reading Estimate function. This works only when the system detects a reading from the day before the specified date.
